Vienna – The tense geopolitical situation in the Middle East presents the domestic executive with additional security challenges when planning the 70th Song Contest taking place in Vienna in May. Federal Police Director Michael Takacs confirmed this in an interview with the APA. “Yes, we do not have a specific threat, but the geopolitical situation in the Middle East requires us to take various factors into account in our planning and continually adapt them,” he said.
