Vienna – The interim ORF general director Ingrid Thurnher has set up a transparency advisory board for the public media company in the wake of the turbulence. This will begin its work “immediately” and will investigate allegations circulating without instructions, fully uncover misconduct and point out the necessary consequences, according to a release. The advisory board is headed by Bettina Knötzl, the chairwoman of the board of Transparency International Austria.
