A motorcycle driver died this Friday following a crash on Highway 13 (A13) in the municipality of Tomar, district of Santarém, a Civil Protection source told Lusa.
The accident occurred at kilometer 130 of the A13, in the south-north direction, just before the Valdonas junction, added the source from the Médio Tejo Sub-regional Command.
The alert was given at 03:20 and, at around 04:00, the incident was being resolved with 13 operators on site assisted by six vehicles.
