The Café Tomaselli on the Alter Markt in Salzburg is one of the most traditional coffee houses in the city. It is currently run by Elisabeth Aigner from the owner family, who will retire in May 2026. The new tenant will be “GMS Gourmet GmbH”, which operates cafés and restaurants in Vienna such as Café Schwarzenberg, the Vienna Rathauskeller or the café-restaurant in the Kunsthistorisches Museum.
