The pre-candidate for the Presidency of the Republic, , released a video in which he takes stock of his management at the head of the government of Minas Gerais, says that he faced the system, cut privileges and put order in the house.
The video remembers Zema as a person who hated politics, but who entered the government race to put an end to luxuries, privileges and schemes.
“This is over with me. Political idolatry is also over. My view is that the governor should not be treated like an emperor”, he says in the play.
The video mentions the former governor of Minas Gerais, Fernando Pimentel (), and also mentions the corruption scandal uncovered by Lava Jato.
Romeu Zema says they are proof that it is possible to defeat the system and defeat the untouchables.
“I faced the system, I cut privileges and put them in place, I put order in the house. And I made the government work for those who pay the bill: the miners. We proved that it is possible to change in MG. Now, it’s time to change Brazil”, ends the video.
