In an interview with the Intelligence Ltda podcast, senator and pre-candidate for Planalto stated that the PT member ‘threw the Brazilian flag in the trash’ and it was his father who ‘rescued the pride of being Brazilian’
The senator and pre-candidate for Planalto, Flavio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ), said this Monday (6) that the president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) “always preferred red to green and yellow”. The parliamentarian made a statement in an interview with the podcast Intelligence Ltda.
“Lula threw the Brazilian flag in the trash can. The PT held the ceremonies, the congresses and played the ‘Internacional Comunista’, not the Brazilian anthem”, stated Flávio. The senator said that the former president Jair Bolsonaro “got this flag from the trash” and “it revived the pride of being Brazilian”.
The parliamentarian reported that “a narrative was constructed” that the former federal deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro “he would be against the country” when commenting on his brother’s possible role in the decision of the President of the United States, Donald Trumpem apply taxes to Brazilian products.
Furthermore, Flávio stated that Eduardo works in the United States for the “rescue of freedom of expression”.
