The senator and pre-candidate for president, , articulates in order to remove Hélio Negão (PL-RJ) from the dispute for the (Court of Auditors of the Union) and, with this, favor the candidacy of PT member Odair Cunha (-MG).
The strategy is part of an agreement reached more than a year ago between PT and PL. The agreement was to support the PT candidate, but guarantee the PL the second vacancy that will open in the court of accounts, in 2027, with the retirement of minister Augusto Nardes.
To do this, Flávio wants to exchange Hélio Negão for Soraya Santos (PL-RJ). Her name, making it easier for the PT member to win.
Officially, the PL says it seeks to support the name of a woman to the TCU. Today, the court has no minister.
The gavel will be struck at a meeting that takes place this Wednesday (8) with the presence of Flávio and Hélio.
Amidst the articulation made by the presidential candidate, this Tuesday (7), the deputy even expressed himself on the networks maintaining his own candidacy for the TCU.
