Vienna – The Constitutional Court (VfGH) has overturned the blanket ban on photovoltaic systems in the St. Pölten area for reasons of the townscape. A homeowner had filed a lawsuit against the regulation, according to which systems must not be visible. The finding is likely to have far-reaching consequences for similar restrictions by municipalities across Austria, reported Ö1.Morning Journal on Thursday.
