A former Logirail manager, about Claudia Montes: “She was not happy with the site and stopped coming to work”

Enrique Martínez, former manager at Logirail, has told the court that Claudia Montes, who yesterday described herself as a party partner of former minister José Luis Ábalos, spent eight days without going to her workplace in Asturias. “He was not happy with the place and stopped coming to work,” the witness said.

The Central Operational Unit (UCO) of the Civil Guard suspects that Montes was hired “illegally” in the public company dependent on the Ministry of Transportation due to the “influence” of Ábalos and with the “relevant collaboration” of her advisor, Koldo García.

Martínez has indicated that he informed his superiors of Montes’ decision not to go to the office and that it was then that a file was opened against him. “I hadn’t gone to work for eight days,” he stressed. Within the framework of his statement, the man has distanced himself from the hiring of Montes.
