According to information, the two tourists unfurled a Greek flag, as a result of which they were brought in and then arrested, while the trial of the case is expected.

The incident seems to have happened on Maundy Thursday, when the couple unfurled a Greek flag inside Hagia Sophia, as seen in the video document.
According to the authorities, the flag read “Orthodoxy or death”.
They were taken from their hotel and after two days of questioning, the arrest was turned into an arrest.
They are now awaiting trial on the charge of sowing hatred among the people.
