From the second track directly to the expressway! Viktor Vincze and his wife Adela have been enjoying their second adopted child for several weeks. The adoption process is not yet closed, but at its successful end, their daughter Lujza will be permanently added to the family. Prominent married couples have already gone through the same path when their son Maxík was born before Christmas 2022. Over time, the Vincze family admitted that the boy was initially closer to his mother, and father Viktor played second fiddle. Rather, his tiny legs ran to the safe arms of Adela, and the former star of TV Markíza just watched in silence. We were interested in how the situation developed over time.
Two years ago, Vincze spoke about an unpleasant awakening. “Now I was in Prague. I was there for some time because of some work matters and we didn’t see each other for a few days... And the little one ignores me 90 percent of the time, sometimes he greets me. But otherwise nothing. I expected him to at least do something. Well, he smiled, turned and went downstairs to get a broom or a dachshund.” Viktor worriedly admitted in January 2024 in the Czech podcast Good Dad.
He was there for two weeks dealing with work related to his career as a pilot. Adela perceived the situation and supported her life partner. “It’s not always possible to develop a relationship with a child, even between a biological parent, but we were much more balanced at the beginning, because the little one didn’t yet distinguish who was mom and dad, and even in many things, Viktor was much more capable, braver, more active, and I was in such a greater panic. Only over time, when the bond is built, it was more about the mother, but until then it was 50/50,” Adela admitted in the podcast, and Viktor added: “That’s what we wanted to achieve, that we need to create a relationship bond as soon as possible, so that when the mother leaves the door, the child will cry.”
The trained lawyer came out with the truth last fall. According to him, the cards started to turn. “This summer, Max’s relationship with me has fundamentally improved and strengthened. There were times when he wouldn’t even let me play with him alone, today he asks me to read him a story. “Can you read in English, daddy?” I’m probably experiencing the best period of fatherhood so far,” wrote Vincze on the social network, who ended up on television under dramatic circumstances and himself decided to temporarily hang up his job as a jet pilot.
He stayed at home in order to help more with raising both children. It was also appreciated by Adela, who never publicly reproached her husband for his absence in the household. And as she revealed to us, even the relationship between son Maxík and father Viktor looks like something from a textbook today. “I think it’s natural. I’m not an expert, a psychologist, but from what I hear, it’s natural that at a certain period, in the beginning, it’s the mother, the mother, and we’re glad that the relationship has developed, but now, as Viktor is more at home and all the circumstances in life have some meaning and are in some kind of perfection, and that’s why this made eminent sense. They have a much closer relationship and it’s great.” she stated a little differently for the YouTube star and Herohero talk show Adela.
She revealed what she likes most about their relationship. “I really like watching them when they communicate with each other, and the proof of that is that Maxík was completely conversant in that English. So he already feels that trust towards Viktor, and that’s how it manifests itself, and I often join them so that he doesn’t feel alone in that. So it’s much, much better, and I think it’s above standard even in relation to other father-child relationships, which I know from the neighborhood, where the mother really is still, also biological, still the most key,” the mother of two pointed out.
