VIP access to Trump for memecoin investors drops 93%

The average cost to go to an event with a Republican reception fell from US$3.3 million in 2025 to US$539 thousand in 2026

The price for cryptocurrency investors to approach Donald Trump (Republican Party) has plummeted compared to last year. The price for a VIP conference with the US president this Saturday (April 25, 2026) fell by 93%, according to information from Financial Times.

VIP ticket winners needed an average of US$539,000 in tokens, called $TRUMP, or about 191,000 coins at the end of this year’s deadline. Last year, this value was US$3.3 million, or 250 thousand coins.

According to the North American newspaper, the drop shows the digital assets community’s reduced interest in Trump’s foray into memecoins.

The 297 largest holders of the $TRUMP coin during a specific period have access to a reception this Saturday (April 25) with speeches from the Republican and a gala lunch with Trump. The 29 largest holders have access to a VIP meeting with the Republican.

Launched before Trump’s inauguration in January 2025, the $TRUMP memecoin soared from US$1.20 to US$75.35 at the time, according to data from CoinMarketCap. One year later, in January 2026, it was traded at US$4.86, i.e. a drop of 94%.
