In the case of the crime of human trafficking, the police charged a 33-year-old woman with forcing her minor daughter into sexual services in Trebišov. The accusation was brought by the investigator of the illegal migration unit of the Office of Combating Organized Crime (ÚBOK) of the Presidium of the Police Force (PZ) on April 20. Lea Vilhanová, spokeswoman for the Presidium of the PZ, informed about it.
- The police charged a 33-year-old woman with the crime of human trafficking.
- In Trebišov, the accused forced her underage daughter to perform sexual services.
- The child was supposed to provide sexual services for a reward of twenty to thirty euros.
- The mother was supposed to use violence and keep all the money she got.
- The accused faces seven to twelve years in prison after being found guilty.
“This step was preceded by a rigorous operational search activity of operational workers and a subsequent investigation, based on which it was established that a minor (born in 2011) was forced to offer sexual services for a financial reward of 20 to 30 euros in the period from at least September 2024 to September 2025 in the city of Trebišov,” said the spokeswoman.
According to the findings of the police so far, her mother knew about this activity, and she was supposed to force her minor daughter to do this activity. Coercion was supposed to take place under the threat of violence, as well as with the use of physical violence. “At the same time, she should have used the vulnerable position of a minor child and kept the funds obtained from this activity for her own use,” the police informed.
The investigation is still ongoing. If found guilty, the accused faces a prison sentence of seven to 12 years. “In this context, the police appeal to the public not to hesitate to contact the police on line 158 or contact the nearest police department in case of any suspicion of criminal activity,” added Vilhanová.
