President of Solidariedade, the deputy (SP) says he would support a possible presidential candidacy of the former minister (PSDB).
“I really like him, the other day Aécio [Neves] He called me and asked if we could repeat the ticket”, said the deputy, referring to the 2002 election, when Ciro ran for president with Paulinho as vice-president.
Pre-candidate for the Senate for São Paulo, the deputy says that Ciro could be a genuine third-way option, more than other names that have been put forward. “I defend a third way, but this third way is very far to the right,” he says.
Any decision about Solidariedade’s electoral support would need to be taken together with the PRD, the party with which it forms a federation.
There would be a difficulty in this case: formed by the combination of PTB and Patriota, the PRD would have a greater tendency to support Flávio Bolsonaro (PL).
At a PSDB event in São Paulo this Saturday (25), whether he will be a candidate for president or the government of Ceará.
