Former mayor appears with 42% of voting intentions in the 1st round against 34% for Raquel Lyra; in a possible 2nd round, Campos has 46% compared to 38% for the governor
Genial/Quaest survey released this Tuesday (28.Apr.2026) shows that the former mayor of Recife, (PSB), has 42% of voting intentions in the race for governor of Pernambuco. The current governor, (PSD), appears in 2nd place, with 34%. Here is the (PDF – 12 MB).
Quaest interviewed 900 voters from Pernambuco from April 22 to 26, 2026. The margin of error is plus or minus 3 percentage points. The confidence level is 95%. The research is registered with the TSE (Superior Electoral Court) under number PE-08904/2026. The withdrawal cost R$183,218.59 and was paid by Banco Genial.
Following João Campos and Raquel Lyra are the state deputies (Novo) and (Psol) with 3% and 1%, respectively.
2ND SHIFT
In a possible 2nd round, Campos has 46% against Raquel’s 38%.

REJECTION
The survey measured the rejection rate of pre-candidates for the government of Pernambuco. Raquel Lyra has the highest rate: 37%.
