Iran executed a man convicted of spying for the intelligence services of the United States and Israel, the Mizan news portal, linked to the judiciary, reported on Monday (11).
Mizan identified the man as Erfan Shakourzadeh, saying he worked at a scientific organization involved in satellite activities and with foreign intelligence services.
According to the human rights organization Iranian Society for Human Rights, Shakourzadeh, aged 29 and trained in aerospace engineering, was arrested in 2025 and coerced into confessing.
