A woman appointed as financial operator of international drug trafficking was arrested last Monday (18), in Pindamonhangaba, in the interior of São Paulo. She had been on the run since 2025 and had a preventive arrest warrant issued by the Federal Court. His name was not disclosed.
The arrest was due to a campaign carried out by agents from the 2nd Capture Police Station of Estrategicas (Dope), in in front of the residence where the suspect was staying.
According to investigations, she was responsible for financial transactions, hiding assets and linked to trafficking. Furthermore, the woman is a partner in a company that owns an aircraft seized in Santa Rita do Araguaia (GO), in April last year, by the Federal Police.
According to the Public Security Secretariat, after being approached and recognized, the suspect was taken to the headquarters of the 2nd Police Station of the Capture Division and shortly afterwards went to a custody hearing. She must be transferred to a Provisional Detention Center (CDP).
