The Ria Formosa Biker Fest returns to Faro between the 11th and 13th of June for its fourth edition, promising three days of live music, street entertainment, gastronomy, exhibitors and biker conviviality along the Passeio Ribeirinho.
The official presentation of the event took place on May 12th, at the headquarters of Moto Malta Faro, bringing together the organization, sponsors and institutional representatives, in a session marked by the announcement of the news of the 2026 edition and the reinforcement of the event’s identity as a social space open to the city and visitors.
During the press conference, the president of Moto Malta Faro, José Leal, highlighted the growth of the Ria Formosa Biker Fest since the first edition, held in 2023, highlighting, however, that the organization’s priority is to consolidate the event “with sustainability”.
“The event has undoubtedly grown since the first edition. Now, we want to grow calmly”, highlighted José Leal to Postal do Algarve.
The person responsible explained that the objective of Moto Malta is not to create a large motorcycle festival similar to the Faro International Motorcycle Concentration, but rather to focus on a concept more centered on conviviality, proximity and the connection between motorcycling and the identity of the Ria Formosa. “We don’t consider this a festival. This is a party”, he told POSTAL.
Tributes to Pink Floyd and Queen among the highlights
According to José Leal, this year’s edition will feature new animations, new exhibitors and changes to the venue’s space, maintaining the commitment to a diverse program, with two stages, street food, bars, taverns and street shows.
Among the announced highlights are tributes to Pink Floyd and Queen, in a program that aims to attract not only motorcyclists, but also families, residents and tourists. “What we want is a pleasant space to socialize, where people can have fun and discover this connection between motorcycling and the Ria Formosa”, explained the president of Moto Malta Faro.
The organization also highlighted that the event intends to continue affirming Faro as a national reference linked to motorcycling, while maintaining an accessible and familiar environment.
The session was also attended by sponsors and representatives from the Faro City Council.
Councilor Tatiana de Gouveia highlighted Moto Malta’s mobilization capacity and considered that the event represents “a reason for pride”, highlighting that “Moto Malta is part of Faro and builds Faro”.
The event takes place between the 11th and 13th of June, on the Passeio Ribeirinho de Faro, with free entry.
