At the end of a messed up season, Rapid is hoping for a show of strength in the second leg of the Bundesliga’s European Cup play-off on Monday (5 p.m.). Three days after the 1:2 in Ried, the Green-Whites have to turn things around in order to avert the first European Cup blackout in seven years. Ried, however, comes with a broad chest after three wins against Rapid en suite. “If any team can do it, it’s ours,” said coach Maximilian Senft before his last game with the Vikings.
