Life in shiny New York can be really tough, and even the talented musician Tamara Kramar admits it without a napkin. She was brought to the USA to study at the Berklee private music school, which she has successfully completed. The daughter of the actor Maroš Kramár traveled for a large sum of money on a student visa, so she couldn’t work at first. Only now has she experienced firsthand how difficult it is to make a name for herself and find a job.
Tamara has been documenting her everyday life on social networks for several months. She recently boasted to her followers that luck finally smiled on her in the matter of work. “If you’ve been following me for a while, you know I’ve been looking for a job in New York and it hasn’t been the easiest thing in the world. But today we’re going to make some money.” she revealed in the video, which you can watch at the beginning of the article.
“This is me on my way to the studio, singing shamelessly on public transport. Unfortunately, I didn’t shoot much, but it turned out great,” said the Slovak, who managed to get a job in a recording studio.
However, don’t expect any stellar manners from her, she appreciates every opportunity. “Basically, they just asked me to record some vocals. I didn’t ask more, in short, I’m just glad I could be there. That’s probably the life of a freelance musician,” added.
After a job well done, it was time for a well-deserved reward. The singer decided to use the earned dollars in her own way. “Then I realized that I was only a 10-minute walk from L Train Vintage (a popular New York thrift store, editor’s note), so I decided it was time for a little reward and a date with myself,” Tamara shared with followers.
