Exempts must confirm participation in the system; Pé-de-Meia students receive a bonus of R$200
Students interested in taking the 2026 Enem (National High School Exam) have until Friday (June 5, 2026) to register. Registration is done exclusively by .
The date is also the limit for requesting specialized care and treatment using your social name. The tests will be administered on November 8 and 15, 2026, in 1,900 Brazilian municipalities.
CONFIRMATION AND BONUSES
Students in the 3rd year of high school in public schools have their registration automatically generated by Inep (National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira). However, this group and students who have already obtained a fee exemption need to access the portal to validate their participation.
During the process, the candidate must choose a foreign language (English or Spanish) and, if necessary, indicate accessibility demands.
There is a financial incentive for public school students registered in the Pé-de-Meia program. Anyone who completes high school this year will receive an extra payment of R$200, as long as they attend the 2 days of the exam.
REGISTRATION FEE
For participants who are not entitled to free tuition, the system issues a charge of R$85. Payment must be made by June 10, 2026 via Pix, credit, debit card or bank slip. The candidate’s registration is only approved after payment of the amount.
LOCATIONS AND USE OF THE NOTE
The exam will be carried out in around 10,000 locations throughout Brazil. To reduce the need to travel on the day of the test, Inep expects that 80% of public school students will take the exam in the schools where they already study.
Enem grades represent the main gateway to higher education in the country. The results are used in Sisu (Unified Selection System), Prouni (University for All Program) and Fies (Student Financing Fund), in addition to being used for admission to partner Portuguese institutions and for obtaining a high school completion certificate for those over 18 years of age.
