Vienna – Clemens Pig was appointed ORF General Director from 2027 on Friday night after a fifteen-hour meeting of the Board of Trustees. The 51-year-old Tyrolean received 21 of 35 votes on the ORF Board of Trustees and thus achieved an absolute majority. Twelve trustees assigned to the SPÖ and seven ÖVP councilors voted for APA CEO Pig, plus two votes from independent councilors.
