The United States and Iran signed remotely and in advance this Wednesday an understanding agreement that is already in force, as reported today by two US officials to the specialized media Axios.
US President Donald Trump would have signed a copy of the agreement this afternoon in France and a photograph of the signing was later sent to Tehran, according to the digital media.
The remote signing of the agreement, which aims to end the war, is in effect, according to anonymous US officials cited by Axios.
For its part, the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed the signing of the agreement remotely through state media and Foreign Minister Esmaeil Baghaei ruled out an in-person signing on Friday in Zurich, as was announced in the morning.
