Two passenger trains collide north of London

Two passenger trains collided early this Friday afternoon north of London. The crash occurred on the journey between the towns of Bedford and Luton. Both vehicles were traveling southbound, and their final destination was London’s St. Pancras station, so the collision was not head-on. The authorities, in any case, have activated emergency services in response to an incident that has caused “serious concern”, and there is talk of an undetermined number of passengers who have suffered serious injuries.
