Europe was hit by a wave of record heat, which we also felt firsthand in Slovakia. Despite the hellish temperatures, singer Eva Máziková spent the weekend at concerts in Miloslavov and the village of Poluvsie. As always, she brought with her a huge wave of energy and provided the audience with great entertainment and pleasant moments.
However, she did not experience those during the trip back to Germany, where she has been living with her husband Peter for many years. She often uses rail transport for transfers, but this time she bitterly regretted her decision. The Austrian train operator ÖBB has already warned in advance that due to extremely high temperatures there may be delays, but also the cancellation of trains.
The heat really paralyzed the railway transport and Máziková also found herself in the nightmare of every passenger. She spoke to her fans on Instagram as she finally boarded the train and enjoyed a refreshing drink as a reward.
“It was 42 °C in Vienna. People were aggressive, all trains are late. Even if you ask someone nice or not, no one can answer you, so I left it at that. I was just tapping when what was going on, but now I’m traveling. But I don’t know when I will come home,” said the singer, who maintained a positive mood even in an extremely unpleasant moment.
Máziková only got home in the evening. This situation was a test of nerves even for the smiling singer. She approached it in her own way. “My husband was waiting for me, which means he didn’t forget me. And now I’ll have a sgroppino (refreshing cocktail, editor’s note), because I’d really rather scream from the poison. But it won’t help me, I’d rather smile and have a sgroppino” she noted in the video that you can watch at the beginning of the article.
