Serie C of the Brazilian Championship is about to begin. From April 12th, the 20 teams of the division begin the dispute with the dream of climbing to Serie B or avoiding the nightmare of descending to Serie D of Brazilian football.
For the 2025 edition, the C Series will keep the dispute model adopted in recent years, with two main phases: first, teams shift running points in 19 rounds. Then a knockout phase.
This eliminatory phase will be played in octaves, quarterfinals, semi and end, round games. In case of a tie, the outcome will be decided on penalties.
