The petista is also sister of the National Secretary of Solidarity Economy of the Ministry of Labor, Gilberto Carvalho, former minister of the General Secretariat of the Presidency (2011 to 2015) and former chief of staff of Lula (2003-2010). In 2012, he was a candidate for Londrina City Hall (PR) by the PT, but was in 3rd place.
Lula met with Cida on Friday (2.Mai), at the Planalto Palace. The meeting lasted less than 20 minutes. The executive chief was expected to be resigned from the minister before the Labor Day holiday on May 1, but the decision was postponed because of the resignation of.
The exchange of women is an advance in the negotiations for ministerial reform, expected since the 2024 municipal elections.
