It was 2015, when Slovak cyclist Peter Sagan (35) married his longtime girlfriend Katarína Smolkova (37). A prominent wedding attracted the attention of the whole of Slovakia, when our competitor pulled up in front of the church on a green metallic Trabant, while the bride in a white vintage car.
Despite the fact that it did not work out for the couple, the marriage gave birth to a son, Marlon, who was born on October 25, 2017, and less than a year after his birth, the news of the breakup of their relationship was shocking. However, Katarína and her son did not return to Slovakia. They stayed to live in Monacowhere they have become fully at home. Marlon attends school in the tax haven, and she was also supposed to find a job in the principality.
The Sagans have always protected their privacy, they did not appear in public much and only occasionally added some pictures of their everyday life to social networks. The last time Katka and Marlonka appeared in public was during this year’s dance show Let’s Dance, when they came to support Petr in the auditorium. “Fortunately, we have maintained a good relationship. Peter, when he comes to Monaco, he can see him whenever he wants. Whenever he is there, we spend time together,” she described to in April.
Since then, it was quiet around her. That changed this weekend. Katarína was invited by her friends to the wedding, and for this important event she entrusted herself to make-up artist Lucia Šenková. She accentuated her natural beauty with a soft-looking clean girl touch.
“For me, Katarína Sagan has incredible beauty in her face…and not only in her face,” said Lucia to the make-up shot. “Today was not a bit of work for me, because I was with people who have been in my life and in my close circle for years and I hope they will stay for years,” she added.
