PALM BEACH, Florida, 29 Dec (Reuters) – US President Donald Trump on Monday renewed his threat to take alawsuit against Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell for what he called ‘gross incompetence’ related to Powell’s management of reforms at Fed headquarters in Washington.
Speaking to reporters in Florida, Trump also said he plans to announce his pick for the next Fed chair in January.
