The administration of Federal Police and entities representing the institution’s careers met last Friday (9/1) to discuss the creation of a new bonus for employees. The topic is closely monitored by professionals in the field and candidates from the PF competition, given the direct impact on career advancement.
The meeting took place in the office of the People Management Directorate (DGP) and marked another stage in the negotiations. According to information presented at the meeting, the draft of the project has not yet been officially released, but is already under analysis in the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services (MGI) and in the PF itself.

How the new bonus would work
According to what was discussed, the proposal provides for the division of the bonus into two parts:
-
Fixed installment: up to 20%, for general application;
-
Variable portion: up to 10%, subject to performance criteria and restricted to active servers.
For those retired civil servantsa transition model was signaled: the fixed installment of 20% would be gradually reduced over ten years, until it stabilized at 11%. For active servants, the 20% percentage would be maintained in full.
Points of divergence
During the meeting, representatives of the entities expressed concern about the lack of objective definition of the criteria that will determine the payment of the 10% variable installment, which could create legal and functional uncertainty.
A proposal presented by an association to exclude administrative employees from the text was also debated, under the argument of facilitating the project’s processing. The suggestion, however, was rejected by the majority of entities and by the DGP itself, who stated that the obstacles related to this point had already been overcome.
Despite recognizing resistance on the part of the MGI, the PF administration demonstrated optimism regarding the possibility of adjustments and coordination with the Civil House to make progress with the proposal viable. The deadline, however, is considered tight: for the project to go to the National Congress in 2026, the text needs to be consolidated by the end of February.
