All cultural, sporting and recreational activities scheduled for the municipality of Ourém, in the district of Santarém, were suspended until the end of the month due to the state of calamity caused by the Kristin depression.
The president of the Chamber of Ourém, Luis Albuquerquesigns the notice that decrees the suspension of all events organized by the municipality, “which include cultural, sporting and recreational activities”, including “activities for school groups”.
At the same time, the municipality also suspends the effect of licenses issued for “cultural, sporting and recreational initiatives and events”.
The measure takes effect immediately, today, and is in force until the end of the month.
The municipality added that the decision will be reassessed “in light of the current situation and superior guidance”.
In serious condition after strong wind threw him

The Government declared a state of calamity until next Sunday for 68 municipalities and announced a package of support measures of up to 2.5 billion euros.
