Slovaks were shocked by the details of the traffic accident that happened on Saturday morning on the highway in Senec. It was caused by a 17-year-old driver who was driving without a driver’s license and had a blood alcohol level of 1.27. According to information Maroš Kramár’s son Marko was behind the wheel. He was also carrying other people in the car. Fortunately, no one was injured.
The young man, who currently stars in the marquee series The Promise alongside his famous father, ended up in a police cell, where he had to sober up. Subsequently, an interrogation took place, during which the teenager’s mother, lawyer Nataša Nikitinová, was also present. The portal reported on Sunday that Marko was released after a few hours.
“An authorized member of the District Directorate of the PZ in Senec charged 17-year-old Marko K. with the crime of endangerment under the influence of an addictive substance. The motor vehicle he was driving was not in his possession,” Bratislava regional police spokeswoman Silvia Šimková was quoted as saying. “The matter in question will be further dealt with in accordance with the criminal code,” reads the statement of the regional prosecutor’s office.
Viewers may remember Marek Kramár from the series Búrlívé víno, where he played Jurek as a boy, who was adopted by the central characters played by Juraj Loj and Nela Pocisková. He left the acting career for some time and tried to break through in the music industry. He only recently returned in front of the cameras when he won a spot in the Marquis’s Vow. The question is whether the accident will jeopardize his further performance in the series. “We are currently reviewing the situation,” said Andrea Macáková, head of Markíza’s PR department.
