In a study lasting only 12 days, in which 72 people took part, experts noticed that chickpeas are not only an addition to dinner, but also an effective way to fight bad cholesterol and high sugar levels, which people with prediabetes often struggle with.

It turns out that chickpeas are more than just a vegan trend. It’s a real vitamin bomb. This grain is a brilliant source of protein, which is absolutely crucial for the regeneration of our body. But that’s not all. Chickpeas are loaded with fiber, which ensures that we do not snack between meals and that our weight is maintained at an appropriate level. Additionally, there is iron, magnesium and B vitamins. These are the ingredients that help fight fatigue and stress, which is common in today’s world full of challenges.
