- Andrej Danko called on the government to summon the Ukrainian ambassador for the damaged Druzhba pipeline.
- Danko claims that the interruption of oil supplies also interferes with the Hungarian parliamentary elections.
- The chairman of the SNS accuses President Zelensky of being a danger to the EU and criticizes his support.
The government should summon the ambassador of Ukraine to Slovakia for the damaged Druzhba pipeline. If it is proven that Ukrainians damaged the pipeline, she should expel him. The chairman of the Slovak National Party (SNS), Andrej Danko, stated this on the social network in connection with the state of oil emergency, which was declared by the Slovak government on Wednesday and agreed to release 250,000 tons of oil for the Slovak refinery from the state’s material reserves. Danko considers the interruption of oil supplies to be gross interference in the Hungarian parliamentary elections.
“It is an indisputable fact that the situation in Slovnaft is serious. Slovnaft has no oil. That is why I welcomed the actions of our government and at the same time I call on the Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic to summon the ambassador of Ukraine. In the event that it is proven that the Druzhba pipeline was damaged by Ukrainians, they should expel him. It makes absolutely no sense for the Russians to damage something that earns them money. Already in the past, President (Volodymyr) Zelensky threatened that we would regret some of our statements and actions,” Danko specified.
Since Slovnaft falls under the Hungarian group MOL, according to the president of the SNS, it is also an attack on Hungary. “It is an indisputable fact that parliamentary elections are taking place in Hungary and that this is an intervention in the Hungarian parliamentary elections. Viktor Orbán does not suit them because he preaches the same ideas that our government preaches. Viktor Orbán is principled in many things,” the SNS chairman pointed out.
“I have serious concerns that if someone does not stop President Zelensky, the EU may also be drawn into a war conflict. I guess no one doubts that Mr. Zelensky is not self-righteous. That is why I was always sad when Robert Fico (Smer-SD) said that he wanted joint negotiations between the Slovak government (with the Ukrainian government, note TASR) and that, God forbid, Ukraine should still join the EU. On behalf of the Slovak National Party, I say that Ukraine cannot be in either NATO or the Union“, he underlined.
He added that next year he expects interference in the election campaign in Slovakia from abroad. “We probably cannot imagine the hell that will come next year, when there will be parliamentary elections in Slovakia. They will liquidate the leaders of Smer, Hlas and SNS, as it has always been. And if we do not realize this in our government, it will turn out very badly,” added the chairman of the SNS.
