Former state deputy Marlene Magalhães Santana de Souza passed away this Friday (27), in . She was admitted to the hospital, where she died.

Marlene Magalhães was active in Acre politics and was part of a traditional family in the state’s political scene. She was the sister of former governor Romildo Magalhães and mother of former federal deputy Carlos Airton Magalhães.

The wake takes place at the São João Batista Chapel, located on Avenida Antônio da Rocha Viana, in the capital of Acre.
