Climate science is concerned with a big question: Is the earth heating up at an ever-increasing pace? Or does the rate at which the average temperature rises remain relatively constant? Have we already released so many greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere that feedback effects are accelerating global warming – with even more devastating consequences for people and the environment?
