Spouses Zlatica Švajdová Puskárová (48) a Patrik Švajda (53) they are experiencing a period that could be described as a logistical marathon. In recent months, their life has been divided between two countries – their native Slovakia and freezing Sweden. The reason is their older son Leonard (16), whose hockey talent did not go unnoticed.
The young athlete is considered a rising star of hockey, thanks to which he was scouted by a prestigious Swedish club, which meant a fundamental change of lifestyle for the family. The Švajdovs tirelessly commute between Central and Northern Europe in order to provide their son with the necessary support in his sports career.
Life on two fronts, however, brings situations when the couple is on the verge of being torn apart. “When both sons have a tournament at the same time. LEO has a hockey tournament in Sweden and ADI has a tennis tournament in Slovakia. We switched again. Paťo is in Sweden, I am at home.” explained Puskárová on Instagram on Sunday. She also published footage from both matches. You can find them in the gallery.
Their younger son Adam (8), who has taken a liking to tennis, is also involved in sports. With such a busy calendar, where demanding work on television is combined with the children’s top sports, the family runs into its capacities. “Honestly, I can’t imagine how we would be able to ‘look after’ another child in this busy carousel of life,” the marquis added flatly.
Although she makes no secret of the fact that she loves life in constant motion, even her powers have their limits. Despite the grueling moves and the days the couple spend apart due to their sons’ sports duties, the success of their children remains an absolute priority. It should not be forgotten that their large family also includes two adult children from Švajd’s first marriage – Patrik and Samuel.
