The village of Furnazinhas, in the parish of Odeleite, hosts a series of initiatives on April 19th that include the Country Fair, a Marcha Corrida and an action dedicated to health.
Between 08:30 and 11:00, infants and cadets from the Vila Real de Santo António and Castro Marim Fire Department will carry out free screenings for the population, including blood glucose, blood pressure and cholesterol tests.
Participation may include a voluntary contribution, intended to support the purchase of equipment and uniforms for the school.
Marcha Corrida is part of the regional calendar
At 10am the Marcha Corrida begins, organized by Castro Marim City Hall, with routes of five and eleven kilometers, integrated into the Algarve Regional Marching and Running Calendar.
Registration is open until April 17th, and can be made through the contacts provided by the organization.
Feira do Campo values local products
At the same time, another edition of the Country Fair opens, where visitors can find handicrafts, regional products, farm animals and participate in activities such as a workshop dedicated to bread and cheese.
The program also includes musical entertainment by Silvino Campos and Rancho Folclórica da Luz – Tavira.
