Singer ALYA, whose real name is Angelika Kollmannová, comes from a musical family and has been involved in music since childhood. Since 2023, she has been active on the Slovak music scene, where she collaborated with artists such as Ego, Majself and Alan Murin. Her work is characterized by a combination of modern production, strong lyrics and authentic emotions. A well-known face from show business has launched the MÁM SA album, which she combined with a listening & birthday party on June 17 in Bratislava.
Koktejl.sk was also there with the musician Teri Čikoš. Her loved ones, as well as the singer, came to the christening Yael alias Matúš Kolárovský, who did not come in vain. At the same time, Slovak singer, composer and lyricist ALYA presents the new single OKAY, which she describes as the highlight of her work so far, as well as the album MÁM SA. For her, the composition means an exceptional authorial moment and at the same time a work in which she managed to most faithfully transform her own nature, emotions and musical direction.
“To this day, it’s my favorite from the album. I always say that I’m so grateful that I got to finish it before someone else got hold of the idea.” If I heard it from another performer on the Czech-Slovak scene, I would probably envy him,” she says with a smile. The release of the song also comes with a visually spectacular video clip, which took almost four months to prepare. It was filmed in Bratislava’s Refinery Gallery with the participation of a large crew and sixteen dancers.
