Amid the destruction caused by the strong earthquakes that hit Venezuela, a woman went into labor and gave birth amid the rubble of a building that collapsed in the state of La Guaira.
According to the international press, the birth took place during rescue operations. Rescuers and several members of the public improvised a space among the wreckage to assist the woman, helping her give birth in extremely difficult circumstances.
After birth, mother and baby were transported to a hospital, where they received medical assistance.
The images shared on social media show the moment in which those present mobilized to create the minimum conditions for the birth, in a scenario marked by the destruction caused by the two earthquakes, of magnitude 7.2 and 7.5, which hit the country just 39 seconds apart.
