Last week, the party leader at home, Mário Heringer (MG), talked to parliamentarians and directed the vote for approving the measure, claiming that there was an agreement with the mayor, (-PB), to block the advance of amnesty to the convicts of scammers in exchange for PEC approval.

Since then, parliamentarians who voted for PEC have been criticized on social networks. The discontent of the deputies with the party increased after the national president of the acronym, Carlos Lupi, publishing on social networks a note stating that the PDT would be contrary to PEC in the Senate.
“Our guidance is clear: vote contrary to the two proposals. We are against privileges of any origin. Our position is for transparency, justice and strengthening of democratic institutions,” he wrote in publication on the official page of the national PDT.
Two deputies say, under reserve, that Lupi did not communicate the decision in advance. The gesture of the president of the acronym generated discontent among the deputies, who felt betrayed and abandoned by the party summit. In the words of one of them, who fulfilled the agreement became “A Geni”, in reference to the character of the song “Opera do aual” by Chico Buarque, and was attacked.
In a party from the party’s WhatsApp, criticism of the leader’s stance was made. In response, Heringer wrote that he would make his position available and that his colleagues could discuss this possibility on Tuesday (23) at a bench meeting.

Members of the bench state that, after the confusion in the VEC vote, the tendency is for the party to guide against amnesty and punish those who diverge.
