The city of was chosen to host the World Social and Solidarity Economy Forum in 2027. The announcement was made official this Friday (31) during the seventh edition of the Global Social Economy Forum (GSEF), in Bordeaux, France.
Considered the largest forum dedicated to the solidarity economy, the event brought together representatives from more than 100 countries.
The city of Rio de Janeiro became known in the country with the creation of , in 2013, and with the Tarifa Zero program, which offers free public transport.
