Derrite would double with (PL), but the deputy is considered an outsider for the election.
With this new reality, a right-wing ticket with Salles became a possibility, if both parties are in the same coalition. This would be made easier in the case of the governor’s (Republican) candidacy for re-election, which tends to unify the center-right camp in the state.
If it is not possible to form a formal ticket, there could be a white alliance, with a non-aggression pact between Derrite and Salles, so that one can be the other’s second vote.
Interlocutors of both say that the arrangement will only be implemented if there is authorization from the former president (PL).
Other names that have been mentioned in the center-right for the Senate are former governor Rodrigo Garcia (no party), federal deputies Marcos Feliciano (PL) and Marcos Pereira (Republicans) and Renato Bolsonaro (PL), brother of former president Jair Bolsonaro.
