According to him, it is necessary to listen to the productive and consumer sectors to avoid negative impacts on the economy
Federal deputy Zé Trovão (PL-SC) stated that is still not against the PEC that proposes the end of the 6×1 scale, but classified the proposal as “very thorny” and defended that the text be “worked on” before any definition.
According to him, it is necessary to listen to the productive and consumer sectors to avoid negative impacts on the economy. “If we make it difficult for the sector that produces, we will take away the right to consume from the mouths of those who consume,” he said.
Zé Trovão praised the decision of the president of the Chamber, Hugo Motta, to attach the proposal to another PEC already in progress, which, in practice, dilutes the pressure for an immediate vote. The parliamentarian asked the Commission to construct a consensus text in the “few months” before the electoral calendar and legislative recesses empty the debate.
At the end, he made a public gesture to the President of the House, stating that he trusted Motta’s “impartiality” to lead the issue and deliver “a Brazil that works”.
