ATP 500 tournament in Rio de Janeiro pays record amount; singles champion will receive US$461,800; know values

The will distribute US$2.46 million (around R$12.9 million, dollar quoted at R$5.23) to tennis players participating in the 2026 edition. The amount is a record and exceeds the US$2.38 million paid in 2025.

The singles champion will receive US$461,835 (approximately R$2.41 million), while the runner-up will receive US$248,480 (R$1.29 million). In doubles, the winning partnership will receive US$ 151,690 (R$ 793 thousand), and the runners-up will receive US$ 80,900 (R$ 423 thousand).

Participation in the 1st round of the singles bracket guarantees a prize of US$ 19,260 (R$ 100 thousand). In doubles, those eliminated in the debut receive US$10,590 (R$55,000).

The tournament, ATP 500 category, is played in the south of Rio de Janeiro, and continues until Sunday (22.Feb.2026).

Among the highlights of the edition are the Brazilian, the Argentine Francisco Cerúndolo, current number 19 in the world rankings, and the Italian Matteo Berrettini, runner-up at Wimbledon in 2021.
