“We have four dead and 10 injured, some in serious condition,” presidential delegate Gonzalo Durán told reporters, adding that the cause of the accident was being investigated.
The explosion generated a large column of smokevisible from various points in the capital. Police General Víctor Vielma indicated that the explosion also damaged “some vehicles inside an adjacent building and affected a dome in the area.”
