As the name suggests, Puszek is a cake as light as a feather and extremely soft. However, you don’t have to worry that it will be dry or bland. Thanks to the ingredients used, it comes out moist and beautifully fragrant. If you like the sweet taste, instead of two teaspoons of lemon juice for flavor, you can add a tablespoon of vanilla paste. The can is perfect as a dessert with a cup of coffee or tea. It is also a delicious alternative to Easter cake or if you want to prepare a light and simple Christmas bake.
Ingredients:
- 2 eggs,
- 100 g sugar,
- 2 teaspoons of lemon juice,
- 100 ml of milk 2%,
- 70 ml of oil (sunflower),
- 160 g of wheat cake flour,
- 10 g baking powder.
Additionally
- butter to grease the form,
- powdered sugar for sprinkling.
How to do it:
1. Crack the eggs into a deep bowl, add sugar and lemon juice (alternately with a spoon of vanilla paste). Mix the ingredients at medium speed until the sugar stops crunching.
2. Then pour in the milk and oil. Mix again until the products are combined.
3. Sift flour and baking powder into the resulting mass. Mix everything with a whisk.
4. Thoroughly grease the bottom and sides of the pan with butter. Pour the dough and put it in the oven preheated to 180 degrees Celsius. Bake for 30 minutes (until the so-called stick is dry). You can sprinkle the Puszek cake with powdered sugar.
