Iran vows revenge. Iran confirmed this Sunday the death of the Iranian supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and has promised revenge with a “hard and decisive” punishment through the largest military operation in its history against Israel and the United States, whom it has already threatened to attack their 27 military bases in the Middle East.
“We have lost our great leader and we mourn him (….) His martyrdom at the hands of the most terrible terrorists and exterminators of humanity is a symbol of his virtue,” the Iranian Revolutionary Guard said in a statement.
The US president responded in a Truth Social message saying that “it would be in their best interest not to do it, because if they do, we will hit them with a force never seen before.”
