The Inspection Service Office (ÚIS) conducted on Tuesday Mrslanderous action called “Kejúcnik”. During it, police officers and civilians were accused and detained. The investigator of the specialized team Veritas accused four current and two former police officers and one civilian from blackmail and abuse of the authority of a public official, which they were supposed to commit in an organized manner. In addition to the accused, two suspects were also detained. TASR was informed about this by the spokeswoman of the police inspectorate, Andrea Dobiášová.
The action took place on the territory of the Bratislava, Nitra and Banskobystrické regions in cooperation with emergency police units from regional police headquarters. “In order not to frustrate the investigation and the ongoing procedural actions, it is not possible to provide any further information on the case at this time,” added Dobiášová.
