New Iranian attacks hit the Emirates, Bahrain and Kuwait

A new wave of attacks early this Thursday from Iran against countries in the Persian Gulf hit a building in Dubai, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, as well as the fuel tanks of a facility near the capital of Bahrain and a building in Kuwait at the beginning of the thirteenth day of conflict in the Middle East.

The Dubai Government press office reported that the city building was hit by a drone and that emergency teams evacuated the block.

Although it did not identify the origin of that specific attack, the country’s Ministry of Defense later claimed to be intercepting missiles and drones from Iran.

For its part, the Ministry of the Interior of Bahrain announced an “Iranian aggression” directed at fuel tanks in the Muharraq area, near the capital Manama, in a message from X. It also reported the activation of alarm sirens and urged residents to take refuge in safe places.

In addition, the Kuwaiti army said that “an enemy drone” hit a residential building in the south of the country and left two people injured.

The Ministry of Defense of Saudi Arabia warned in several publications on X of the identification and interception of drones. According to one of his messages, at least 18 drones have been destroyed overnight. So far, no information has been released about victims or injuries.

Hours earlier, Iran announced a new wave of bombings against Israel and against US targets in the Gulf countries after 13 days of conflict in which attacks have not ceased in the region as a result of the joint offensive between the United States and Israel on Tehran on February 28. (Efe)
